How long will the course take?
The course is normally completed in six months and there are two enrolment points in each academic year. Each module usually takes 8-10 weeks to complete but the more time you spend working on the course the more quickly you can complete individual modules. This means that you will usually be taking more than one module concurrently. Being an online course the benefit is that the access is flexible to your needs.
The course is governed by UCE's Assessment Regulations and these should be consulted in any event of difficulty or illness whilst taking the course. You should also contact your tutor in relation to this issue, who can outline the regulations and possible resolutions.
Where will I do the course?
The course will be taken completely online and can be taken as long as you have full Internet access and a broadband Internet connection. Tutorial support will be available at timetabled points during your course and will be available via email and Skype (www.skype.com), this support can be enhanced further if you have a webcam (although this is not absolutely necessary). Webcams are available from many outlets and are relatively low cost.
